Sampling Tube Permeability Set

Permeability test can be performed directly on undisturbed samples without removing them from the sampling tubes. The tube serves as the permeameter chamber. Tests can be performed under constant or falling head conditions of flow. The apparatus consists of top and bottom plates made from corrosion resistant metal which are tightly sealed with the help of an "O" ring to the ends of a 6inch or shorter section of 3inch shelby tube. An accepted field method for determining rate of infiltration of liquids into soils is the double ring infiltrometer.
